ABOUT LOUISVILLE
Voted "Most Compassionate City" and "Most Livable City," Louisville is more than just the Kentucky Derby,
baseball bats, and bourbon. As an art and cultural mecca, Louisville boasts an opera house, orchestra, zoo,
ballet company, etc., and the world-renowned Actors Theatre. It also acts as a hub for indie music and regional
and college sports and boasts a robust "maker" culture. Voted one of the "World's 10 Best Food Cities" by
National Geographic, Louisville is rightfully proud of its remarkable food scene, which includes excellent
craft breweries and distilleries, not to mention two of the best coffee shops in the country.
Louisville's central location in the Ohio River Valley is just a few hours' drive from cities like Chicago,
Nashville, Cincinnati, and St. Louis. The area is also surrounded by natural beauty, offering various outdoor
recreation opportunities. Louisville is a beautiful place to call home, blessed with four seasons, a string
of Olmsted parks, and splendid architecture, including the nation's largest Victorian preservation district.
